Shermaine Williams
Performance Coach & Guidance & Leadership Mentor
Shermaine is a two time Olympian who serves as a Performance Coach at HTFT and one of three former professional athletes integrated into our Guidance & Leadership Development model. Her background in elite sprinting and high level training informs her leadership approach, emphasizing discipline, structure, and consistency in both athletic and personal development.
Alongside her performance work, Shermaine plays an active role in guidance and leadership support for youth athletes and families, both within and outside of scheduled sessions. Consistent with the roles held by Lewis Brinson and Kemal Ishmael. Her lived experience allows her to connect authentically with athletes navigating pressure, expectations, and growth on and off the field, along side Trevor Barlow and the rest of the HTFT staff.
Shermaine also serves as a leadership focal point for HTFT’s annual Mental Health Run & Recovery, held each year at Vista View Park in Davie, Florida. Through this initiative, she helps reinforce the role of movement, green space, and intentional running as tools for regulation, reflection, and resilience. This work reflects HTFT’s belief that guided movement and community connection can support individuals facing anxiety, grief, depression, or periods of withdrawal, not only athletes, but the broader community.
Through her work at HTFT, Shermaine brings steady leadership, mentorship, and authenticity, supporting individuals as they build habits and confidence that extend well beyond sport.
