Performance Therapy

Performance Therapy

Performance Therapy at HTFT is designed to meet individuals at different stages of readiness, using movement, structure, and guided support as the foundation for growth. While traditional Therapy and Mental Performance can be powerful at the right time, we recognize that not every youth, adolescent, or adult is immediately ready for a conventional office based therapeutic setting.

For many, Performance Therapy serves as an effective first step, creating structure, self awareness, and emotional regulation through action before deeper therapeutic work is introduced, if and when appropriate.

HTFT offers Performance Therapy through two distinct pathways:

Youth Performance Therapy, led by Joey Topel and Ben Yogev, supports youth athletes who are beginning their self development journey. Using sport and training as the vessel, this approach focuses on habit development, communication skills, emotional awareness, journaling, creative writing, and relational growth in an environment that feels familiar, engaging, and supportive.

Performance Therapy with Mental Health Integration is designed for young adults, adults, and professionals who do not resonate with traditional therapy settings. When paired with mental health professionals and mental performance coaches in wellness, recovery, or structured performance environments, this approach allows meaningful personal and emotional work to occur with the same depth and intention as traditional therapy, without relying on an office based model.

Because Performance Therapy is delivered across different age groups and levels of support, structure and pricing vary. Families and individuals are encouraged to inquire so we can help determine the most appropriate pathway based on goals, readiness, and individual needs.
