Performance Specialist : Speed, Strength & Conditioning

Martyra Turnquest’s background in athletics is built on discipline, versatility, and high level competition. Raised in The Bahamas, she developed through multiple sports before focusing on soccer, where she earned national team representation and a collegiate athletic scholarship.

She now applies that experience to performance training, working with athletes across youth, collegiate, and professional levels. Martyra specializes in speed development, strength training, and sport specific conditioning, with programming designed to meet the exact demands of each athlete’s sport and position.

Her approach is structured and progressive, centered on acceleration, force production, and movement efficiency that translates directly into performance. She has worked with NFL and MLB athletes, helping them improve output, refine mechanics, and maintain consistency at a high level.

Martyra’s training philosophy focuses on developing efficient movement, building usable strength, and creating repeatable performance under pressure. Her work is designed to improve speed, overall athleticism, and movement quality that carries over into competition.

Her programming is integrated within the broader HTFT system, working alongside (M.A.T.) recovery, Individual Therapy / Mental performance coaching to ensure athletes are progressing across all areas.
