Lewis Brinson
Lewis Brinson is a professional baseball player born and raised in Coral Springs, Florida. Drafted in the first round of the 2012 MLB Draft, he has competed at the highest levels of professional and international baseball, gaining firsthand experience navigating pressure, identity, and the demands of elite performance.
Within HTFT’s Guidance and Leadership Development Program, Lewis serves as an active mentor, working directly with youth athletes through one-on-one mentorship and ongoing guidance. His role centers on leadership, accountability, and personal development, helping athletes navigate high-expectation environments while staying grounded in who they are beyond sport.
Lewis is also actively involved in HTFT’s partnership with the One HomeTeam Foundation through the annual 305ers vs Broward Classic, a community-driven event focused on promoting mental health awareness across youth and professional sports. Through this platform, he helps bridge the gap between high-level athletics and meaningful conversations around mental health, mentorship, and long-term development.
He brings authenticity, relatability, and lived experience to his work, reinforcing the broader HTFT system through consistent mentorship and real-world perspective. His focus remains on character, self-awareness, and long-term growth, supporting athletes as complete individuals both on and off the field.
